A banner can be considered a flag or other little bit of cloth bearing symbolic, emblem, slogan or other note. A flag whose design is equivalent to the shield in a cover of hands (but usually in a square or rectangular condition) is named a banner of hands. Also, a club form little bit of non-cloth advertising materials showing off a name, slogan, or other marketing note.
Banner-making can be an ancient craft. Cathedral banners commonly portray the saint to whom the cathedral is dedicated.
The term derives from French expression “banni?re” and later Latin bandum, a towel out which a flag is manufactured (Latin: banderia, Italian: bandiera, Portuguese: bandeira, Spanish: bandera). The German terminology developed the term to mean the official edict or proclamation and since such written purchases often prohibited some type of human being activity, bandum assumed this is of your ban, control, interdict or excommunication. Banns gets the same origin signifying the official proclamation, and give up methods to change devotion or disobey requests, semantically “to leave the fabric or flag”.
