A banner can be considered a flag or other little bit of cloth bearing symbolic, logo design, slogan or other subject matter. A flag whose design is equivalent to the shield in a jacket of forearms (but usually in a square or rectangular condition) is named a banner of biceps and triceps. Also, a club form little bit of non-cloth advertising materials having a name, slogan, or other marketing concept.
Banner-making can be an ancient craft. Cathedral banners commonly portray the saint to whom the cathedral is dedicated.
The term derives from French phrase “banni?re” and overdue Latin bandum, a towel out which a flag is manufactured (Latin: banderia, Italian: bandiera, Portuguese: bandeira, Spanish: bandera). The German dialect developed the term to mean the official edict or proclamation and since such written requests often prohibited some type of individual activity, bandum assumed this is of the ban, control, interdict or excommunication. Banns gets the same origin indicating the official proclamation, and get away from methods to change commitment or disobey requests, semantically “to leave the towel or flag”.
