A banner can be considered a flag or other little bit of cloth bearing symbolic, custom logo, slogan or other concept. A flag whose design is equivalent to the shield in a cover of biceps and triceps (but usually in a square or rectangular form) is named a banner of hands. Also, a pub form little bit of non-cloth advertising materials wearing a name, slogan, or other marketing communication.
Banner-making can be an ancient craft. Cathedral banners commonly portray the saint to whom the chapel is dedicated.
The term derives from French term “banni?re” and later Latin bandum, a towel out which a flag is manufactured (Latin: banderia, Italian: bandiera, Portuguese: bandeira, Spanish: bandera). The German terminology developed the term to mean the official edict or proclamation and since such written requests often prohibited some type of human being activity, bandum assumed this is of the ban, control, interdict or excommunication. Banns gets the same origin signifying the official proclamation, and give up methods to change commitment or disobey requests, semantically “to leave the material or flag”.
